Girl in Red has announced a one-off show set to take place in London next spring. The show will take center stage at Brixton Academy on April 3, 2023. It will be part of the artist make it quiet To visit. Tickets for the same will be available through Ticketmaster.


Girl in Red recently postponed their European tour

The artist recently postponed his European tour due to damage to his vocal cords. In a statement, the Norwegian artist said:

“After my tour in the United States ended on April 25, I went to see a throat specialist in Norway who told me that I had nodular damage to my vocal cords. He told me that singing would become more and more difficult for me, but because I didn’t want to disappoint everyone coming to my concerts in Europe and the UK, I left for the tour two days later.

She further added:

“I seriously can’t stress how heartbreaking this is. I have an overwhelming feeling of letting you down, but right now it’s out of my control. What I control is what I can do to move forward, and I will do everything I can to prevent this from happening again. I like you.

The artist is also set to support pop star Billie Eilish on June 26 at London’s O2, as well as Glastonbury, Superbloom and Oya festivals. She has not, however, confirmed if she will still be going to these festivals.


Girl in Red releases a video for hornylovesickmess

Earlier this month, the singer shared the official video for hornylovesickmessdirected by Euphoria star Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules Vaughn on the show. Vaughn featured visuals in her directorial debut. The video features Girl In Red lying on top of a car as she speeds down an icy road. The video features the musician inside the vehicle while images are projected from the windows.

The artist said in a statement,

“Being able to do a video with Hunter for the anniversary of the album was so cool. We had so many ideas after the first time we spent time together and it was cool to be with another creative from this way.

Girl in Red aka Marie Ulven Ringheim is a Norwegian singer-songwriter and record producer who made her career debut in 2016. She came up with her stage name after trying to identify herself in a crowd with a friend by SMS. She releases her first single I want to be your girlfriend on SoundCloud in November 2016.

Within five months, the song received around 5,000 streams. Girl in Red’s first EPs Chapter 1 (2018) and Chapter 2 (2019) were recorded in her bedroom and contain songs about romance and mental health. His first studio album If I could make it quiet was released via AWAL on April 30, 2021. As of January 2021, singles by the artist including I want to be your girlfriend (2017) and We Fell in Love in October (2018) have been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
