Emirates News Agency – DCT Abu Dhabi announces update of ‘Green List’ countries

ABU DHABI, October 8, 2021 (WAM) – The Abu Dhabi Ministry of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) released the updated “Green List” of countries on Thursday.
All travelers arriving from these destinations will be exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi.
Travelers will be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test valid for a maximum of 48 hours prior to departure and undergo a PCR test upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Passengers vaccinated from the updated green list will undergo another PCR test on day 6 (arrival day counts as day 1). Unvaccinated travelers from these Green List countries will also have a PCR test on days 6 and 9.
The countries, regions and territories appearing on the “Green List” will be regularly updated according to international developments. Listing is subject to strict health and safety criteria to ensure the well-being of the UAE community. The list also only applies to travelers’ countries of origin, rather than citizenship.
