Get the witty Oslo Davis artwork framed for your living room

When we were deciding who should illustrate our new cookbook, Home made, we couldn’t get past Melbourne-based designer, illustrator and artist Oslo Davis, known for his sharp and witty work for publications like the New York Times, age and the monthly. As expected, he brought humor and life to the pages of the book with illustrations that beautifully complement each recipe and the personality behind it.
In our new limited edition Oslo Davis Broadsheet Editions collection, you can choose from four framed prints of the artist’s favorite illustrations from the book. There is a relaxed paccheri (a large tubular dough from the Campania region of Italy), depicted “waiting for a mate”, or a bottle of sherry, shown here with a slice of bread covering the glass (ready for some ham or cheese on the side) – culminating with ready-made tapas and no bugs in your drinks, a tip from Chef Jesse Gerner. Champagne is inspired by Vue de Monde chef Hugh Allen’s recommendation to pop your bubbles with a saber for more theatricality, while Saint-Marzano is an ode to the much loved Italian ingredient appearing in several Home made receipts. There is also a fifth option: The collection brings together a large playful selection of illustrations from the book. These prints will add a bit of charm to any room in the house.
There are only 200 copies of each Oslo Davis print available, so don’t hesitate to order your favorite. Each A3 print is locally framed in a beautiful stained Australian wood frame.
