Indonesian singer-songwriter Oslo Ibrahim shared a poignant single, “Blanket Of Sadness” with Rendy Pandugo.
The final track arrives on Friday August 6 just a month after the release of a heartbroken single titled “Baby Don’t Let Me Go”, and comes with a music video.
The new song – produced by Pandugo and released through the Orca Music brand – will also be part of Oslo’s upcoming mini album.
Watch the lyric video below.
With lyrics that are both dark and fiery, âBlanket of Sadnessâ is about dealing with personal issues as an adult. “There is a stage in your life that creates a void after a quarter-life crisis,” Oslo said in a statement. âYou just feel incomplete. It looks like you have it all, but you don’t. You feel like you’ve done everything, but you haven’t.
Oslo said Pandugo also went through a similar phase in his life, which made him suitable collaborators. âRendy had overcome this kind of problem several years ago. In a nutshell, it’s a song about how to survive an adult life as a man.
The two new tracks follow her debut album of 2020, “I Only Dance When I’m Sad”.
The Oslo bred by Medan marked her debut with the single “Midnight Thoughts” in 2018. The track was followed by her debut EP ‘The Lone Lovers’, as well as ‘You Made Me Smile’ with Romantic Echoes.
Meanwhile, Pandugo released his EP titled âSee You Somedayâ in February and released a remix of his song âFarâ with fellow Indonesian artist Reikko in March.
