STAMFORD, Connecticut – June 14, 2022 – NBC Sports continues live coverage of the 2022 Diamond League track and field season this week, with the sixth and seventh competitions in the series in Oslo, Norway, and Paris, France, home of the Olympic Games. summer of 2024.
The live action begins in Oslo on Thursday, June 16 at 2 p.m. ET on Peacock with additional coverage of the event airing Saturday, June 18 at 8 a.m. ET on CNBC. Diamond League competition continues from Paris Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on Peacock and CNBC.
OSLO DIAMOND LEAGUE – THURSDAY JUNE 16
Two-time Olympian and three-time United States Champion Devon Allen, who ran the third-fastest 110-meter hurdles in world history at last weekend’s USATF NYC Grand Prix, headlines an elite crew of U.S. Olympians who prepare to compete at the iconic Bislett Stadium on Thursday. Allen, a two-sport athlete at the University of Oregon, signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in April and is currently focused on the track until the start of training camp later this summer. Tokyo Olympians Joe Klecker and Alicia Monson are expected to compete in the men’s and women’s 5,000 meters respectively, with both athletes having already qualified for the 10,000m at the Oregon22 World Championships in Athletics after the United States hosted those event-based championships in May.
NBC Sports’ Paul Swangard will call the event, joined by the four-time Olympic medalist Ato BoldonOlympic double marathoner lime treesand three-time Olympic gold medalist Tianna Madison.

PARIS DIAMOND LEAGUE – SATURDAY JUNE 18
Tokyo Olympic Discus Gold Medalist and Defending Diamond League Champion Valarie Allmanfresh off first in the event at the Classique Préfontaine in May, should be the headliner of this competition for the Americans, alongside the two-time pole vault world champion and 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Sam Kendrick. On the international side, the Tokyo Olympic gold medalists Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (Jamaica), Shaunae Miller Uibo (Bahamas), Steven Gardiner (Bahamas), Selemon Barega (Ethiopia), and Emmanuel Korir (Kenya) should also compete.
Swangard will call the event, joined by Boldon, Linden and Madison.
