130 nationalities on board more than 350 flights


After two–year of break, Brussels Airlines is finally back bringing together nearly 25,000 festival-goers of more than 130 nationalities at Tomorrowland in Boom. As of July 13, more than 175 flights will depart from 69 different airpsfrom Brussels to Brussels Airport, where passengers will already feel the rhythm of the festival thanks to the DJ sets among others.

For the 16e edition of the best music festival in the world, 600,000 festival-goers from over 200 different countries will unite in Boom for three weekends of Tomorrowland, this year themed “The reflection of love.” More than 700 artists are programmed on 14 stages.

Brussels Airlines takes the world to Belgium and Boom

Brussels Airlines has sold nearly 13,000 flight packages to flying music fans out of 69 different airports in Belgium for the festival, i.e. nearly 25,000 Tomorrowland passengers traveling to and from Brussels on more than 350 Brussels Airlines flightshts. Ten flights will be transformed into exclusive #TMLpartyflights flights with a live DJ set at an altitude of Ten kilometers.

The very first party flight brought the first 130 festival-goers, mostly Norwegians, from Oslo to Brussels today, July 13, at the company of the British DJ duo Good boys. To immediately get in the mood, festival-goers in Oslo was treated to the first of eight gate parties (see photos below)

For the fourth time, Amare brings music lovers from around the world to Tomorrowland. Amare is one of the five Belgian icons of Brussels Airlines, an Airbus A320 named “Amare” dedicated to TomorrowlanD. The plane is painted on the outside with a gigantic eagle, and also brings the Tomorrowland Interior ambience with mood lighting and Bose music system.

“As The Belgian national carrierwe are very proud to have been a partner of the world famous belgian party Tomorrowland for ten years already. In 2012, we are organizingsed the first 25 to party flights. We also created the Global Journey packages that year, allowing international festival-goers to combine the festival with their hothe Where camping trip and their transport by bus, train or plane. In 2017, we unveiled Amare, an aircraft with a special Tomorrowland livery, entirely dedicated to the festival. And we are convinced that the future will be bring even more beautiful realisations together,” said Michael Moriaux, Marketing Director, Brussels Airlines.

A total of 46,000 Global Journey packages were sold to festival-goers of 133 nationalities. The five the most common nationalities are American (nearly 12%), German (10.5%), Spanish (more than 7%), French and British (just over 6% each). Note that 2% of travelers are Belgian nationality.

Brussels Airport to the rhythm of Tomorrowland

The youthe unique atmosphere of Tomorrowland continues upon arrival at and departure of Brussels Airport. From the middle–June, a beautiful Tomorrowland globe was set up on the sidewalk (the area between the departures hall and the car park), which lights up and rotates at night.

Onot 18e and 25e July and 1st In August, DJs will perform at the airport between 06:00 and 20:00 (at Beers & Cheers, Pier A). In addition to live music, passengers can find the clothes line by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike in the fashion boutique while cosmetics by Anouk Matton wsick be on sale in the Aelia Duty-Free shop (platform A).

Like every year, Brussels Airlines invites everyone to take a free ride on the ferris wheel on the festival ground, with stunning views of the fairy–tomorrowland storybook landscape and beyond.

The airline’s employees will also be present at the service counter on the festival site so that passengers can make adjustments to their flight or obtain the right information on their right to travel outdoors and at the festival.

In order to offer its passengers a carefree return after a fantastic Tomorrowland experience, Brussels Airlines has once again set up a mobile locker–at DreamVille campsite. Pennsylvaniatravelers returning by plane can already check in their luggage at the campsite and therefore do not have to carry their suitcases and tents to the airport themselves.

Also, during the festival weekends, we can count on nearly three hundred volunteers who will ensure that festival-goers spend a carefree weekend. It starts with the orderthe purchase of their tickets, the departure from their home country, during the festival itself until they return home.
