Tietoevry is one of the main partners of the SHE conference in Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki in March 2022. The SHE conference is a large professional arena for discussions on equality and future working life.

The SHE conference has been held since 2016 and has grown in size and scope each year. The SHE Conference is organized by SHE Community Global, an established global network whose ambition is to close the gender gap and promote inclusion for all.

“We joined the SHE community in order to join like-minded companies – and learn through benchmarking with the best. We have now participated in the SHE Index in Norway, Sweden and Finland and continue to use it as an important tool to develop the inclusion and diversity within Tietoevry globally,” says Kia Haringresponsible for communication and sustainable development at Tietoevry.

At Tietoevry, we consider that the diversity of people, beyond sex, gender identification, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation or age , is also valuable and creates a pleasant and inspiring workplace. Embracing each individual creates a culture, where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.

“As a concrete goal to advance equality – we have set an ambition to reach 40% professional women globally by 2026 – and 50% by 2030 – corresponding to 29% today’ Today. The SHE Index provides a good set of indicators to enhance transparency and promote gender equality in working life. We challenge other companies to join the index,” continued Kia Haring.

The SHE index powered by EY was designed in collaboration with the SHE community. The index is based on a survey submitted by participating companies. It includes 36 questions divided into six categories, such as the actual gender balance, the gender pay gap, and talent and recruitment. Based on the results, the company will receive an index between 0 and 100. The survey is open until February 20 and is free.

The top performers will be announced at the SHE conference in March. SHE 2022 will be hosted live in 3 Nordic capitals: Oslo on March 17, Stockholm on March 24 and Helsinki on March 30. This year’s theme is “Make It Happen!” ‘
